What You Should Know

Welcome! We are excited that you are thinking about worshipping with us here at Macedonia. Walking into a new place can make one a little anxious. Hopefully this page will will set you at ease. Macedonia is a dynamic community of faith located in Fort Worth, Texas with a passion for changing lives with the Word of God.  As one of the fastest growing churches in the DFW metropolis, we preach and teach the Word with special emphasis on practical application.  If you are looking for a place to worship, call home and grow in the Lord, then Macedonia is the place for you. I'd love to be your pastor and we would love to be your church. Come with us and we will treat you well.

Here are a few tips for your first visit:

  • Dress up or dress casual…it’s up to you. The atmosphere at our church is relaxed. You will see people wearing a variety of clothing. So come wearing what you feel most comfortable in. What you wear on the outside doesn’t really matter, just be yourself. 
  • We have reserved parking waiting for you right up front, near our entrance.
  • Come a little early, especially if you have kids. Our children's church programs are all located in the Upper Room Chapel (located on the second floor).  
  • If you are the kind of person who likes to have a coffee in your hand at all times, you don’t need to stop and get a cup on the way. We have one waiting for you.·          
  • Looking for a Sunday School class? At Macedonia we have what we call The Key: Empowerment for Life that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15.
  • Don’t forget to stop by the Welcome desk to pick up a welcome packet with information and a special gift from us to you (including a gift for a free meal on the next 1st First Sunday!)

We have two identical Sunday morning services at 8:00 am (Spring 2011) and 10:30 am. You can pick the one that best fits your schedule. Our services last about 75 to 90 minutes. However, each 5th Sunday is Unity Sunday and we schedule only one service at 10:30 am.
