Pastor-Teacher

Pastor Julius L. Jackson, Jr., is the first born son of the late Dr. Julius L. Jackson Sr., and Mrs. JoAnn Bostic Jackson. A native of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, Pastor Jackson came to Fort Worth with his family at the age of 10 years old.  He is a 1976 graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School.  He attended Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA, served in the United States Army, continued educational goals at Butler University, Indianapolis, IN and received his Bachelor's Degree in Theological Studies in 1988.  Currently Pastor Jackson pursues a dual Masters'/Doctorate Degree in Theological Studies. 

Pastor Jackson has pastored in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Indianapolis, Indiana and presently serves the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, having succeeded his father in October 1999, where he continues the legacy of strong biblical teaching, preaching and pastoral leadership.  Pastor Jackson is active in many ministerial organizations. He has been afforded the opportunity to travel to London to spend a week of intensive studies in Homiletics at Oxford University. 

Pastor Julius L. Jackson Jr. is married to Dia L. Jackson and is the father of three, Jessica L. Jackson, Julius L Jackson, III and Deion Z. Lewis. He is also Journee Camille's proud "granddaddy."
