Mission Statement

                    The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is an awesome ministry that is constantly working behind the scenes to edify and cover the Macedonia Family as a whole through prayer: to inspire and encourage the members, families and all Church ministries to pursue a loving and deeper prayer life with God and others, to the glory of God. 

            Under the guidance of our Pastor, our goal for the Intercessory Prayer Ministry is to stay in constant communication with God; pray for our pastor and his family; build a spiritual foundation for each ministry of the church; seek God with a clean heart on behalf of lost souls to be restored back into the kingdom of God and to pray for spiritual growth of those who will come into the faith in Christ.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry Values

  • Worship:  Our primary focus and purpose is to glorify God as we enter into his presence we experience the intimacy of a personal relationship with the Awesome God.  As we worship together we affirm what we believe.
  • Discipleship:  As a result of effective discipleship the life of our church is changed through prayer.
  • Fellowship:  Our ministry is made up of intercessors unified to serve the Lord and support the Pastor by interceding prayerfully for the hurting, as we become alert to the spiritual and physical needs of the congregation.
  • Ministry:  We desire to help others understand the importance of prayer and develop a personal prayer life, to grow in prayer by encouraging other believers to participate in lifting up the name of Jesus and enter his sanctuary in prayer.
  • Evangelism:  Allowing our actions to win nonbelievers over into the faith as we become agents of Christ by rescuing the lost from darkness as they enter into the kingdom of God.
