Women Ministry

The Women’s Ministry is a sisterhood for the Women of Macedonia. The ministry has a seven fold purpose with our greatest desire being to connect with one another and the Lord God himself; to serve, making a difference in the lives of others and to be like Christ! We are driven by passages found in Matthew 7:21-23 and Matthew 25:35-36. Our passion lies within the idea of being imitators of Christ; by sacrificing our priorities for the work of the Lord, walking out the very basic and simple traits and virtues of Christianity, that of, faith, hope, and love. The goal is to allow our works to be produced by faith, a faith in Jesus Christ our savior, which comes by hearing and hearing the word of God; our labor, prompted by love, our love for God, and a response to the love we have received from him , leading to a desire to meet the needs around us. And our endurance, inspired by hope; our hope in the Lord who never disappoints or fails.
The Women’s Ministry has three banners under which all of our activities and projects are derived. The banners are:
- The Ministry of Faith exist to secure funds through fundraisers to help fund our ministry efforts along with programs like our annual three day Women’s Empowerment Conference and monthly Ladies Night Out.
- The Ministry of Love is the arm of the ministry that visits the sick, nursing home and prison ministry; prepare care packages and gifts for the less fortunate.
- The Ministry of Hope encompasses the food pantry, school supply and clothes giveaway.
The overall ministry is designed to have a significant spiritual impact; help women grow in their relationship with the lord; enable women to share Christ with others; meet women where they are; empower women to move to the next level of spiritual growth; mentor younger women and girls; and devise outreach efforts to touch and meet the needs of those around us.
